Algebra A Math: Factoring Trinomials: Leading Coefficient not 1

In this topic, students are introduced to factoring trinomials where the leading coefficient of x is not one. This series of two lessons teaches the student the fundamentals of factoring trinomials where the leading coefficient is not one.

Factoring Trinomials I

This lesson introduces the student to factoring trinomials where the leading coefficient is not one. In this lesson, the student learns multiplying the leading coefficient by the constant term allows the student to do the first step of factoring a trinomial with a leading coefficient of one like before.

Factoring Trinomials II

In this lesson, the student learns how to fully factor a trinomial where the leading coefficient is not one.
